Like many others we were enthusiastic to add coconut oil to our natural hair routines. After all, we already loved it in our food. We read the wonderful results many others were getting and so we gave it a try. We were highly disappointed when it just did not perform for us, as a matter of fact it made our hair dry & brittle. We had to stop.

We started looking at products, and realized we had to really search to find coconut oil free natural hair products. Talking with family and friends we realized some others had similar effects, some were neutral and for some it worked. We had a simple thought- why aren’t there clearly marked, quality products for folks like us.

And so in 2020 NoCo Blends was formed.
We are inspired by our family and friends to create coconut oil free hair products that will nourish and enhance the beauty that is within all of us.
